I’m John Migila, Shade’s Tanzanian Executive Director. I’m excited to share a special video message with you as we close out 2024. In it, I highlight the incredible milestones we’ve achieved this year—milestones made possible because of your generous support.
Here are just a few of the accomplishments we’re celebrating together:
- Welcoming our third-grade class to Shade School.
- Adding a third bus to safely transport students to and from school.
- Opening our new cafeteria, ensuring all students receive nutritious meals daily.
Looking ahead to 2025, I share in the video how we’re “on the move” toward even greater growth:
- Constructing new classrooms and bathrooms to expand our campus.
- Welcoming our fourth-grade class, marking the start of Tanzanian students’ national exams—an important milestone for their education and futures.
